The Alamos Forest Dynamic Plot (AFDP) is a 50-ha plot lied at Reserva Ecológica Monte Mojino, a private property within the Federal Sierra de Alamos-Rio Cuchujaqui Natural Area, in Sonora (Northwest Mexico). The dry forest of the Alamos regions represents the northermost limit of the distribution of the seasonally tropical dry forest in the Americas.

At the AFDP there are more than 27,000 > 10 cm dbh trees and 58 species, being Fabaceae the family that comprised the largest number of species (16), followed by Burseraceae (6), Cactaceae (6) and Euphorbiaceae (5). Some of the dominant tree species are Lysiloma divaricatum and Handroanthus impetiginosus.
